Okay, so I start this topic off with the good. Course selection was uber simple this year, thanks to talking with Kathryn and figuring out how the old courses work in with the new structure. I figured out the courses to take this upcoming fall semester, and the timetable was the easiest thing ever.. 2 courses only had 1 offering, and the remaining 3 courses only had 2 configurations that worked. So simple.
Today I stop working for a moment around 12:30, my reg time, to register in my classes.
I enter the codes into goSFU, and submit, and ta dahhhhh... ERROR in 4 of the 5 courses because apparently i don't "meet the requisites" for those courses.
... except i DO, only they're credits from the old remnants of the SFUized TechBC structure.
So I spend more work time trying to use the goSFU live help, which seemed to time out every time I finally got the person to understand what my problem was.
I think I should just give up and stop trying to come back to this program. Yeesh.
Anyone else have troubles registering in courses? _________________ look, a signature. |

Wow, that's a real shocker there...sfu can't get the reg system to work properly yet AGAIN.
It's only been like FOUR years since they brought in this brand new spanking reg system. Who are we to actually expect it to work properly by now?

I'm so glad my $0 donations as an alumni is going toward such great causes... _________________ The most difficult person to understand is yourself. |

Had to register for DDE and it said I didn't have requisites. I got into BUS 237 though. Should be a piece of cake, especially since aquisitioning hardware is part of my job description. We just got a 2x 2x Xeon from Dell. _________________ "Keeping knowledge free" does not mean "Promoting random carnage". |
